Hi, we’re Eugene and Lena.
We’re a young family building Litumi together. Eugene is learning English. Lena is an English teacher. We came to this project from different sides of the same problem: learning a language takes effort, and the website you use shouldn’t make it harder.
It started with a frustration
I’m Eugene, and I got tired of how inconvenient studying English online could feel. I would open a site to practice one thing and end up navigating crowded pages, looking for the right exercise, or trying to work out where to go next. I wanted somewhere simple, fast and pleasant to spend time.
Lena brought the teacher’s perspective to our conversations. Together, we decided to build a place that would help other people learn, too. That became Litumi.
The kind of site we wanted to use
Litumi is our independent project: a cleaner, more thoughtfully designed alternative to the older, overloaded learning sites we found frustrating. We care about readable pages, quick loading and being able to get straight to a lesson.
Here you can practice grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing and Use of English from A1 to C1. You can check answers, read explanations and return to mistakes. Your progress is saved on your device, so you can pick up where you left off.
We’re building this for people like us
You don’t need to love studying or have hours to spare. Sometimes you just want to understand a rule, try a few questions and feel a little less stuck. That’s what we want Litumi to help with.
If something is confusing, an answer seems wrong, or you want to tell us about your experience, get in touch. We’d like to hear from you.
