Comparative adjectives

Syllabus topic 28: Comparative adjectives

Comparative adjectives. Compare two things using adjective + -er or more + longer adjective, followed by than.

How it works

Compare two things using adjective + -er or more + longer adjective, followed by than. Good becomes better and bad becomes worse. Do not combine more with an -er comparative. Change consonant + y to -ier.
