A request for quiet hours

Dear Centre Manager,
I am writing on behalf of several members who use the community centre's shared study room. We appreciate the new evening opening hours, which allow people with daytime jobs to study here. However, since the conversation club moved into the next room, it has become difficult to concentrate on Wednesday evenings.
We do not want the club to lose its meeting space. Some of us attend it ourselves, and it offers newcomers a valuable chance to practice speaking. Our concern is the thin partition between the rooms. Even ordinary conversation carries through it, so asking club members to speak more quietly is unlikely to solve the problem.
Could the study room move to the upstairs room between six and eight on Wednesdays? We understand that this room is sometimes used for committee meetings. If those meetings cannot be moved, a small trial during the weeks when it is free would still be useful. A notice at reception could direct students upstairs.
We would be happy to collect feedback during the trial. That should help you judge whether a permanent change is worth making, without committing to expensive building work immediately.
Yours sincerely, Alex Chen
