Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.
At dinner, my cousin claimed that every report about a local construction project had been secretly controlled. When I asked what evidence would change his mind, he said any contrary evidence would prove that the cover-up was even larger. We had reached a difficult point: his explanation could absorb every possible result. I did not want to mock him, especially because the original project really had suffered from poor communication.
We separated the questions. Missing documents deserved investigation; they did not automatically establish a hidden master plan. By the end, we agreed to request the public meeting records and compare them with the claims. We did not agree about everything, but a specific check gave us more to discuss than a theory that could never be shown wrong.
