I think students should have a short reading period every school day. First, it gives everyone time to enjoy a book, including students who are very busy at home. They can choose a story about something they like. Also, a quiet activity can make the classroom feel calmer after a noisy break. For example, my class reads for ten minutes after lunch, and I find it easier to start the next lesson. For these reasons, I would like schools to make time for reading.
