Tom and I go to the mall to buy a present for our friend. We have twenty pounds between us. A game costs thirty, so we cannot buy it. Tom sees a football for eighteen pounds, but our friend already has one. Finally, we find a drawing set for sixteen pounds. Our friend loves drawing, so it is a good choice. We use the rest of the money for a card. We do not stay for lunch because we have no money left. We eat sandwiches at home instead.
