Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.

On my first school day, I wore new shoes. They looked nice but hurt my feet. My father walked with me to the classroom. I wanted him to stay, but he had to work. A girl called Ruby showed me an empty chair. At lunch I could not open my drink. Ruby helped me, and I gave her half my apple. After school, Dad asked about my day. I told him about my new friend, not my sore feet. I wore different shoes the next morning.
