Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.

Our school is having a Pancake Day activity. First, our teacher shows us how to mix the ingredients. Then an adult cooks the pancakes in a hot pan. We do not touch the pan. My friend likes lemon and sugar on his pancake, but I choose fruit. Later, we have a race outside with cold pancakes in small pans. I walk slowly because I do not want to drop mine. I finish last, but my pancake stays in the pan. Everyone laughs and claps. Next year I want to help make the mixture.
