We expected our first big music festival to be all about famous singers. In fact, some of our favourite moments happened away from the main stage. We found a small tent with storytelling and a workshop where people repaired old clothes. On Saturday, heavy rain changed our plans. Instead of standing outside for another concert, we listened to an unknown band under cover. They were excellent. Before leaving, we helped collect our group's rubbish. The weekend taught us to leave room for surprises. A carefully planned timetable was useful, but following it every minute would have meant missing good experiences.
