Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.

I used to drive to work and eat lunch at my desk. Six months ago, our office moved closer to my flat. I sold my car because I no longer needed it every day. Now I walk to work and meet a colleague in the park for lunch when the weather is good. I expected to save money, but I did not expect to know my neighbourhood better. I have discovered a library and a cheap vegetable shop. I still rent a car for some family trips. The change has made daily life simpler, without solving every travel problem.
