Lena wanted to buy a Glastonbury ticket, so she began with the festival's official information page. She learned that registration and buying a ticket were different steps. Having registration details did not mean she already had a ticket.
She checked the instructions for the relevant sale, because dates and arrangements can change. When an unfamiliar account offered her a guaranteed ticket by private message, she did not rush to pay. She returned to the official page to check the authorised route. Her notebook contained the current instructions and a reminder: an exciting offer is not proof that a seller is genuine.
