Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.
After university, Marta moved from a village to a city. She loved being able to walk to cinemas and language classes. However, her flat was expensive and she rarely spoke to her neighbours. Her brother stayed in their home town.
His rent was lower, and friends lived nearby, but he needed a car to reach his job. When they discussed where to live, neither thought the other's choice was wrong. Marta valued variety; her brother valued familiar people. They agreed that a place could suit someone at one stage of life and feel less suitable later. There was no single winner.
