Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.
When our parents asked us to help more at home, my brother complained. He already had homework and football practice. I was annoyed too, but mostly because I washed the dishes while he only took out a small bag of rubbish. We made a list of all the chores and how long each one took. Then we agreed to change jobs every week. Nobody had to do something unsafe or miss important schoolwork. After a month, the house was not perfect, but there were fewer arguments. My brother said the problem had been the unfair arrangement, not helping itself.
