Nadia: I understand videos with subtitles, but I freeze when someone asks me a question. Should I stop watching videos and study grammar all evening?
Owen: I had a similar problem. I started recording short answers to familiar questions. At first, I prepared notes; later, I used only three key words. It helped me notice which phrases I needed repeatedly.
Priya: I would keep the videos if you enjoy them, but add chances to respond. After a short section, pause and explain the main idea aloud. You do not have to understand every word before speaking.
Nadia: I like both suggestions. I will try them for two weeks and keep notes on what becomes easier.
