Original fictional learning scenario. People, dialogue and personal experiences are created for language practice.

Our class has a traditions day. We ask our families about things they do every year. Amina brings a photo of a family meal. Her cousins travel a long way to join it. Tomas shows us a small paper bird. In his family, everyone makes one for a birthday. I bring a notebook. Each New Year, my family writes one happy memory in it. These are our family traditions. Our teacher says people in the same country can have very different traditions. We enjoy asking questions instead of guessing.
